Legal
Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of the ReadyOps365 website and platform. Last updated: September 2026.
1. About these terms
Who you are contracting with
The ReadyOps365 website and platform (the "Service") are provided by Oliver Rolf Brettschneider, trading as ReadyOps365 ("ReadyOps365", "we", "us"), a sole proprietorship based in South Africa. By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

The Service
ReadyOps365 is a subscription platform for operational readiness: asset and people registers, obligation and inspection tracking, evidence storage, general reminders, dashboards and reports. Features depend on the plan you select. A free trial period may be offered; paid subscriptions renew as described at checkout.
2. Using the Service
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service. This includes, without limitation:
- using the Service for any unlawful purpose, fraud or spam;
- uploading content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights;
- introducing malware, probing or testing vulnerabilities, scraping, or otherwise interfering with the security or operation of the Service;
- reverse engineering, reselling or circumventing plan or technical limits.
Your account and data
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account, and for providing accurate information. You retain ownership of the data you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host and process that data solely to provide the Service to you.
Intellectual property
We retain all ownership of the Service and its intellectual property, including the software, documentation, ReadyOps365 branding and materials. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your selected plan while your subscription is active.
Software subscription, not services
Your subscription pays for access to the ReadyOps365 software platform only. General product help is provided free of charge as a courtesy and is ancillary to the software. If you need hands-on assistance — for example loading existing asset or people lists, configuration or training — you may ask us to put you in touch with an independent third-party specialist. Any such work is agreed, quoted and invoiced separately by that third party, is entirely optional, and is not part of, nor a condition of, your software subscription.
3. Service levels and liability
Availability
We work hard to keep the Service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. ReadyOps365 supports operational and ISO-aligned processes but does not guarantee certification, legal compliance or any particular operational outcome; the Service does not replace professional advice.
Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) are disclaimed. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.
4. Payments, refunds and cancellation
How payments are taken
Oliver Rolf Brettschneider, trading as ReadyOps365, is the seller of the software subscription. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Card details are handled securely by Paddle and never reach ReadyOps365.
Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Please also see our Refund Policy.
Where agreed with us, payment may alternatively be made by card through our South African payment partner, iKhokha, on its own secure payment page; in that case iKhokha handles the card details for that payment. The Paddle disclosures above apply to all orders processed through Paddle's checkout.
Each payment covers one subscription period (monthly or yearly). Access continues for as long as the current period you have paid for. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and you keep access until then.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. When access ends, you may export your data during any read-only period we provide, after which it may be deleted in line with our retention practices.
5. General
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over disputes. We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or sale of the business.
