How ReadyOps365 handles personal information. Last updated: September 2026.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Data controller
The responsible party (data controller) for this website and the ReadyOps365 platform is Oliver Rolf Brettschneider, trading as ReadyOps365, a sole proprietorship based in South Africa. You can reach us at info@readyops365.com.
Where a customer organisation uploads information about its employees, contractors or assets, that organisation is the responsible party for that data and ReadyOps365 processes it on the organisation's instructions as an operator (processor).
2. What we collect and why
Categories of personal information
- Account details: name, email address, login credentials.
- Organisation details: company name, billing and contact information.
- Support and contact messages you send us.
- Usage and technical data: log data, device identifiers, IP address and similar telemetry.
- Data you choose to store in the platform, such as people, asset, obligation and reminder records.
Purposes and legal basis
- Creating and managing your account and subscription (performance of a contract).
- Providing, securing and improving the Service (contract and legitimate interests).
- Fraud prevention and platform security (legitimate interests and legal obligations).
- Customer support and service communications (contract and legitimate interests).
- Marketing communications, where you have opted in (consent).
Card details are collected and processed directly by Paddle.com, our online reseller and Merchant of Record, on Paddle's own secure checkout and never reach ReadyOps365. We only record that a payment was made, the reference you used and the amount. Where you choose to pay through our South African payment partner, iKhokha, iKhokha processes the card details for that payment on its own secure page instead.
3. Sharing, retention and security
Who we share information with
- Paddle.com, our online reseller and Merchant of Record, for the sale of the product, subscription management, payment processing, tax compliance and invoicing when you pay for a subscription.
- iKhokha, our South African payment partner, for card payment processing where you choose to pay through an iKhokha payment link.
- Service providers and subprocessors that host, operate or support the Service (hosting, email delivery, analytics and support tooling), bound by confidentiality and data-processing obligations.
- Professional advisers (legal and accounting) where necessary.
- Authorities where required by law.
Where information is transferred outside South Africa, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections required by applicable data protection law.
Retention and security
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes above, after which it is deleted or anonymised. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and least-privilege access to production systems.
Cookies
We use essential cookies needed to operate the website and keep you signed in. If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies, they will only be used in line with this notice and you will be able to manage your preferences.
4. Your rights
Access, correction and deletion
Under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) — and, where applicable, GDPR — you may request access to your personal information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict processing, request portability, and withdraw consent at any time. We respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) or your local supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@readyops365.com.
